When I was younger, it was much easier to feel humiliated, or less than those who outdid my own efforts. I use to stew and rethink constantly over my mistakes.
Now that I am MUCH older, I feel more like Miss Cricket, in the ways of just feeling good for those who succeeded, rather than feeling bad for myself. I have learned so much more from my mistakes, and just try to move past them.
There will always be someone around the corner to outdo even our best of efforts. That's what progression is all about.

In team sports, all the time.
Mostly indifferent, since we were playing for fun. I was only annoyed with people who took it too seriously, like the fate of the free world is hanging on the outcome.

Like when we went and got a new 52 inch TV, then my brother spent his tax return on $3000 speakers for his. And we have been taking their kids to school all year because they don't have a car!!!! THE GAMES NOT OVER YET!! Hahahaha...(evil laugh)...

I sucked, but it was easy to get over.
It's when it was very close to going your way but for a critical mistake or two that keeps you awake nights.

I do not compare myself to others nor do I compare them to me. I am who I am and I love myself. I love to see other women who have it going on for themselves too. I don't hate I congratulate.
