One day as I lay fast asleep, lost in pleasant dreams,
A soothing voice awakened me surrounded by moonbeams,
"It's you", she said, "'Tis true", she said, "You are the chosen one. From this point on, the plans are drawn, your life has just begun".
You've made it to eternity there'll be no fear of doom,
There are no rules, except just one,
You cannot leave this room.
To make your penance bearable , enjoyable indeed,
I'll fetch you twenty items,
Just tell me what you need.
Eternity's a long, long time, and twenty's not too many,
So I made my list with ardent care, as not to leave out any.
In the middle of the empty room I placed a feather bed,
For the fair haired lass who's hand I asked, to lie her angel head.
In the corner stood a wooden crib for our cherub when he comes,
And next to it his instrument,
He's going to play the drums.
The centerpiece a Steinway Grand, I cannot do without,
Three vintage Martin blues guitars, we're going to sing and shout.
An old Les Paul, a Selmer Sax, a Buffet clarinet
A flock of singing mockingbirds whose songs we won't forget.
A hardwood floor sprawls down the hall,, an endless promenade,
Where my bride will dance and twist and twirl,
Then linger in the shade.
We can't forget the artist pads and water color paint,
To re-create our own milleu,
Exciting, bold , yet quaint.
We'll need a full length mirror,
to see just who we are,
A small organic orchard, and strings for the guitar.
From up above the orchard, will flow a crystal brook,
A writing desk and pen and pad, within a hidden nook.
"Thats all" she said, your twenty's up, I'll fetch them then you'll see,
That twenty things are not enough to last eternity.
Well I just smiled and turned away, I knew she would not heed, that music, space and art and dance , are all we really need.
That's not quite true, she never knew, that life was more than song,
And the one thing that she can't provide, was what I brought along.
For twenty-one was not the sun , and not the stars above,
But the spirit that's within us all,
To fill our rooms with love.

Since I have always craved solitude but never yet experienced it, this sounds like a dream come true to me. All I would need is good health, my computer, a ream of paper, a box of pens, one of pencils, a telephone-hey, need some way to order take-out- a refirgerator, microwave (to heat up the take-out I'll order) a toilet, shower, TV,in other words, indoor plumbing. I assume this room would be climate-controlled? A comfortable bed lhmm.. I might want a little "companionship" once in a while-strictly for sex, then good-bye. I'd want a daily newspaper, a closet full of clothes, a mirror and a pet who would live forever too. Where do I find the owner of this mysterious voice???

Oooooh. Spooky.
I think I'd be asking to get out of that room.
When you ask hypothetical questions like that, you don't generally have 20 choices. Usually there are about three. Like what three things would you want if you were shipwrecked on a desert island. But, it's your story...
.
PS - you've written 'loose' instead of 'lose'.

The first item will be the planet Earth (you never said how big or small the room would be)
I'll spend a few millenia thinking about what other items might keep me busy. The last item I choose will be a painless suicide machine, so that if infinity gets unbearable, I could opt out.
