I hate abortion!!! Yeah so people say that it is the woman's body and she can do what she wants with it but what about the baby? Yeah, i know it's a fetus but it is alive it is not a bunch of cells! If you're thinking that the baby might be born into a bad situation and won't have enough love when it is adopted, then you're wrong! My mom's friend adopted three kids and still wants more but she can't have them! over a million babies are killed a day and over 60,000,000 parents want to adopt! OMG!!! just stop abortion before the murder spreads to you and me.

It is easy to abhor abortion when a person does nothing at all to solve the current rate of children (millions) who are born in the world into poverty and doomed to horrific deaths from disease and starvation. I am not sure what the lesser evil is in that big picture. It's better to DO something about your beliefs than to waste energy judging and condemning atop a high horse.

i disafree completely. i hate it when everybody keeps saying "if they didn't want a baby they shouldn't have had sex" what about rape victims?? and adoption isn't always a safe answer. many people die in childbirth. and which is worse, a fuly developed person dying or something that isn't even a baby yet w/ no brain or heart dying? IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ABORTION THEN DON'T HAVE ONE!! IT'S NOT GOING TO SPREAD TO YOU IF YOU JUST DON'T HAVE ONE! and some people have the argument of what if christ was aborted?? well then, this world would probably be a whole lot better.

I agree that abortion is wrong..... for me. But i also respect other people, and although I may see it as murder the law doesn't. I could never have an abortion, but i think that if a woman is raped, and it is her thought that it would be too difficult to go through a pregnancy with a child who was part of that person who raped her, I would understand and completely support that woman.

Also know that a potential person is not a person, nor is it a human being in possession of a soul or sustained by anything other than it's womb inside the mother, who is alive and has breath and a soul.

also think about this:
women lose pregnancies every day due to causes we perceive to be natural, at ALL stages of pregnancy, some weeks in, some at months in and some babies never reach consciousness after being brought out of the womb.

It is the breath that gives life, it is the ability to take in breath, it is the ability for a child, once seperated, to take in breath and be sustained by drawing in of breath either on it's own or with assistance.

An unborn human being is not a person, nor does it possess a soul until it has been baptised by the spirit, which is also breath.

I would never argue that abortion is good. I would also say that aborting a pregnancy is always a selfish decision with respect to the pregnancy in all other ways as being healthy and normal. The bottom line is, people have free will to make their own decisions about themselves and that the body is part of that free will.

I do not believe that the creator would cause the unborn to have souls before their birth, just as I know in my heart that rocks do not have soul, because they do not have breath. All things that have breath in the world have soul. Breath meaning Life which sustains itself according to our understanding and sustained by God in the spiritual sense.

Abortion is not murder.

Yes, abortion is horrible. It is an undeniable biological fact that every abortion kills an innocent human being. By the time most women even know they are pregnant, the baby's heart is already beating (at 3 weeks after conception). Virtually no babies are aborted before 6-7 weeks, and by that time the baby already has tiny fingers and recordable brain waves.

Just so you know, there are over 3,500 babies killed by abortion in America every day and about 1.3 million babies a year.

ok u people REALLY REALLYneed to wake up. How dare u come on here spouting all your propaganda and random facts, pulled out of the air. I am sick to death of judgemental pro-lifers shouting and wailing about how terrible and awful abortion is, that the baby fights the needle, stupid, incorrect poems designed to heap guilt blah, blah,blah U HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT U ARE TALKING ABOUT. Most abortions are carriedout when the fetus is under 12 weeks old. These is NO fighting of the needle, NO emotions felt like these sick poems suggest. i had an abortion at 6 weeks, and I would do it again, no hesitation - why did i have it? well, although I do not need to justify it to u or anyone else, I would have died if I had gone through with the birth due to cancer. The babys life? - what about mine? arn't i AS important, if not more? Even if i hadn't been under threat, why should i carry a baby full term if i didn't want it, go through all the stress of pregnancy, all the pain of birth, just to hand it over to a complete stranger? And what if there was something wrong with it? would it sit, waiting in a home because it wasn't a pretty, cute picture perfect designer baby? u quote all these figures, but the reality is that millions of children all over the world live in miserable conditions because no-one wants them. U and your cronies REALLY need to wake up and get real. No where did I say that people SHOULD practice abortion, it is a choice. If your mother had aborted u, then u wouldn't be here to shout about how terrible it is would u. The world would still go on, just with u not in it! It would make no difference to the millions of unaborted children still needing a family, would it? So I say lucky u. Oh, and yes, there are some late abortions, but pro-lifers use these to describe ALL abortions and it simlpy not true. In comparasion to early ones they are few and far between. I completely agree, i mean if you don't want to have a baby then be more careful when you have sex! Its pretty simple! But I do have to argue that some of these teens that have abortions are pressured to do so. And some people want to have babies in the future and can't afford them now. And they don't want anyone else to have there baby. I'm not trying to defend these people because, it is like you said murder. But I can understand that for some people they have no other choice.

Then many these people who want to adopt so bad need to start adopting the crack babies and the babies with fetal alcohol syndrome, and downs syndrome, etc - oh, and all the kids who are now 6, 8, 13 years old and have never been adopted.

But no, people only want cute little babies from healthy moms. Whhhaaaaa. Start taking care of the other kids.

BTW? Not every baby is viable - tell that to the blob of cells that never developed anything but a heartbeat - no limbs, no head, no brain - that occupied my body for over 3 months before it died.

I see your point, but I have heard of so many people who wouldn't go through the shame of giving a baby up for adoption but find no shame in treating their children like dirt. The incredible abuse some children endure until they finally grow up and leave home only to suffer mentally and not be able to succeed in having loving relationships surely shows termination must in certain cases be the lesser evil.

I think early on in the pregnancy it isn't all that horrid. Some women are druggies and will not stop. So we want this woman who is doped up every day to give birth to a child who will grow up with severe abnormalities or even possibly die after birth? So it's either torture or murder in that way, what would you prefer? And with rape victims, we want the woman to possibly go through alot of stress and depression to hold a baby in her and give birth to a child? Or what if a woman is very poor. How will she care for herself during her pregnancy so she can carry a child in her? What if she is on the streets in the cold with no food?It's ok to me in certain cases, but of course it is a very sad thing in my life. I'm currently pregnant with a girl, and I plan on backing her up on whatever decision she decides later in her life.
