*COUGH COUGH*
The only people?
Let me review the major genocides of the 20th century (some of these might be a bit debatable)
1. Armenian Massacrse- The Turks (muslims)
2. The Soviet Purges- (Atheists)
3.The Holocaust- Nazis (some sort of christianity)
4. Tibet-Chinese Communists (Atheists)
5. Khmer Rouge -(don't know... But they're not muslims)
6. Balklans- Serbs, Croats, Bosnians, Albanians, and a slew of others (Mostly christians, with some muslims mixed in)
7. Rwanda- Hutus (don't know... But they're not muslims)
8. Darfur- (muslims)
The Muslims are not the only people that have commited genocide. Making that statement is a foolish use of bias and ignorance of well documented fact.

Freedom from oppressive regimes stabalizes the world. We believe that all people should have the same basic human rights that we have, and that people should be able to succeed in life. The opportunity to better ones self raises the standard of living of the entire world and combats poverty and oppression. If the Palestinians, for instance, experienced great prosperity, they would be less likely to be concerned with Israel. If the Muslims in Darfur valued humanitarianism and human rights, genocide would not be an issue.

Genocide is the systematic eradication with an ultimate ending or goal of eventual elimination of one's own race or an entire separate race. That being said, until we are fighting Martians, war is genocide. And Bush has no desire to free Muslims he already has a prejudice against them anyway. We went to Iraq, we instigated a civil war, we stood by and aided it, and now we won't leave until the Iraqi people can't stand on their own, and beg the U.S. to let them in, it's about geo-political strategy in the Middle East, not too dissimilar from when we raided and pillaged Hawaii, stole it from the natives and deposed Queen Liliuokalani so we could claim it as a state and have a strategic vantage point in the Pacific as an up-and-coming world power. Why free them when we can force them into a state of desperation and take what's theirs by making them submit and beg for mercy from both sides? It's a win/win situation for us, we get what we want and we can't be accused of stealing it.

Get the facts straight first of all. Many Muslims are peace loving people just as many other religious people throughout the world.
Christians committed much genocide throughout history in the name of their god.
Second, they are not the only ones committing genocide. Saddam Hussein committed genocide, not ALL Muslims. There is genocide occurring in many countries now: Africa and China are two that come to mind. The only reason we are in a war now is not because of genocide but oil.
If politicians truly cared about genocide they would work to stop it in all countries, not just the ones that allow them to make a profit.

Bush is the leader of a country that believes in the freedom of all humanity , Why is it that despite immigration to the USA, those claiming asylum wish to undermine the very principles of American society. ? Answer me this , If Americans are the scourge of all peoples , why do the islamists wish them harm yet seek the freedom America has to offer
If George Bush was so inclined he could prevent every Muslim from entering the country. When National security is at stake anything is possible . President Bush has done what is right by his people. His defence of his nation by declaring war on terrorists wherever they may be on this planet is justified , divided we stand divided we fall its not about oil destroy those that would destroy you.

Not all Muslims are a threat to America. Other religous organization, lets say like Jim Jones, or David Koresh, and others are sects from christian faith. Had there ends had not been demissed then they to could have grown larger and more of a threat to the genreal population of America, but you can't bring and end to ALL christian affiliates based on these fanactics. Same for Muslims their right to worship.

I think we need to re evaluate that.
We are allowing the opportunity for political freedom. There is no such thing as religious freedom in Islam.
