I'm just kinda unsure and AOL has failed protecting my computer in the past, so much so that I had to download Ad-aware SE personal. Also, each time my computer had a virus the computer guy couldn't even fix it so he had to restart my comp erasing all the music and pictures I downloaded. That's why I know, I need something like x-drive to safe certain things from being destroyed. The part that made me really uneasy was that when I went to download it, it says the publisher is unknown. That made me paranoid about downloading it at all. Does anyone know if it's a safe program?

AOL is garbage!
they try to block things, but hackers constantly get around it. plus, there is always the programs, cookies, javascript and things you allow with or without knowing about by clicking on this and that.

Best bet is to use your head....if you did not go there yourself, then chances are it is an ad, and ads carry spyware. trialware often install crap too. smiley central...never!

Never rely on aol, because hackers love to bust aolers up for fun.
