new win xp pro opened package myself could not actaviate windows online[called and windows had been activated about eight times could not register or activate.with out about 40 or so numbers. i just don't think this is right .need to talk to microsoft that is if i can get the phone number to talk to a rep for techsupport [not a computer] thank you cm hughes

It's not a tech support problem. Someone has used a keygen and randomly generated the key that you actually own. If activation fails, you will unfortunately need to prove to microsoft that you own it. This is a common problem.
I have looked on the microsoft site and there is a disgusting lack of recognition of this problem. I suppose it is only to be expected.
