I can write you a poem for $10! How long does it have to be? If not start by saying,,,(The sun warmed my face as I tucked my scarf in my coat, slowly moving through the snow, It was just a dream suddenly I awoke.

It's also cheating not only if you copy off the Internet, but if you copy here from anyone who writes a poem for you. You have asked this question before and the answer from me is the same. The teacher assigned you the poem (not everyoone else here on Yahoo), so you have to make an attempt to write something. Research what makes a good poem, and then sit and think about your topic. Surely you know about winter. Do not ask others to do your work and then attach you name to it. That is dishonest and the teacher will know you didn't do it yourself.

Hilda, First a fall poem The leaves begin to change colors with the wind they will dance from the trees. Leaves change from green to yellow red finally brown Falling from the trees and are tumbling down. Weather is cooler in the morning days are shorter, nights are longer. Winter Winter starts in December although it can start sooner. Winter occurs when snow falls to the ground. Temperatures are cold winds can be wicked. In the winter this is when Christmas comes. It is best to dress accordingly because there can be wind chills. In the winter kids or even adults make snowmen throw snow balls. Activities like skating skiing, are fun.

Poetry --
Like water, ice, steam.
It has many forms.
You are probably boxing yourself
in by thinking that it has to rhyme.
Anybody can write a poem in prose.
You shouldn't be worried about if you get caught. You should be worried that you are trying to take the easy way out and cheat on an assignment instead of trying to do it. Just write four sentences about winter and act a little bit mad. Then break it up and remove the periods so it seems deep.
Spring is my least favorite time of year
Always raining and the smell of dirt
Is it wrong that I hate to see winter melt away?
Rotten eggs and baby rabbits.

Start by making some key notes about winter:
crisp, cold, frosty, snow, invigorating, billowy puffs of steam when you breathe in and out,ice-cycles, crystal prisms of ice hanging like jewels from the trees...reflecting light...etc.
Then look at what else ties in with winter:
fires, hot chocolate, rainy or snowy days, ice-skating, snow boarding, sledding, skiing, snowman building
You get the idea. Once you get some thoughts and keynotes down...then you can put them together to write a poem. It makes it much easier. You can do this! Why would you want to turn in work that wasn't your own. At least give it your best shot. You may be surprised by the grade you earn for trying!

Gray covers the land, heaven and our world,
it blends horizion with sky and blands all
The bite of the wind is still a harsh memory
Starting already to fade.
We are safe within our shelters
warm next to the ones we love
as the terror of the seasons recks havoc on the world.
I really dont want to put more time in to this, just discribe what is going on arround you outside (since it is winter) Use the poetic devices, and remember it does not need to rhyme.

Think of some of the winter holiday songs. Words like glisten, snowflakes, wonder, snowman, bright, gleaming, glowing, white, bright, night, treetops, sled/sleigh, etc. come to mind.
Then how about some more modern themes such as snow blowers, shovels, delays, snow tires, chains, skis...
You can do it!

use something about snow and the cold and throw in something about being dark and stuff like that. Maybe throw in some imagery of death and tie it in with winter. Does it need to rhyme or not? If not, it should be very easy.

here is a starting point,
It's winter and it's cold and bleak.
I don't like to go out. I'd rather stay in and sleep.
the snow piles get higher every time it snows.
Being out of school is the only good thing that I know.
