Also make sure you have another thing to put the hamster into or it will escape from the box they put it in when you get it. Oh and they like to run around so they have things call a hamster ball that you can put it in and let it run around on the ground, and don't put more that one in a cage unless you plan to breed or they will fight and try and kill each other.
