It goes almost anywhere except for outside of town, unlike Paris's subway, for example.

the longest you'll have to wait for the subway is probably 5 minutes. Lots of subway stations in Lisbon have art on the walls... it's the cheapest and better way to travel through Lisbon.

It's good, with modern machines, and it's mostly safe, I never had any problem.
One ticket is 0.7€, but you can also buy two-way tickets, or a 10-ticket pack.
