How to stop the Falcons in madden 2007?

Hey, i play madden 2007 and it seems like everyone uses the falcons and scrambles with vick on most pass plays. I know to use a spy coverage and such, but what team is best to stop the falcons? any suggestions on coverages to use?

Hands down the best defense to me belongs to the ravens. The best thing to do is to control the outside pocket. Most players dont rush in the middle because of the spy. You can make your DE's rush to the side with an audible and that pretty much kills the scrambles. If that doesnt work try the play on dime called two strike deep. As long as you make your ends rush to the outside the DBs will rush right in.

I have myself as a southpawed scrambling QB in superstar mode with a speed rating of 95 ( higher than Michael Vick himself ). and what usually does me in is when the CPU plays a zone defense with CBs covering the flats and has a MLB with a high awareness rating spying the QB. i dont like to scramble up the middle, and if i can scramble against this D its usually for minimal yardage like that. I believe this defense is called a Cover 2 Pinch. if you have a fast MLB with great awareness, take your DEs and playmaker them to contain rush instead of a straight rush. most CPU controlled QBs in madden will try to scramble thru the middle. player controlled scramblers will favor one side: left of the OL, thru the center, or right of the OL. teams i would recommend to accomplish this ( or contain as much as possible ) would be the ravens, steelers, buccaneers, bears, or patriots. only reason i say the pats is even though theyre not as fast as the others, almost every starter's awareness is over 80.... on a 3-4 defense the two MLBs awareness are over 90). these teams have been consistantly the best defensively in the real NFL for the last few seasons.
