I'm thirty and have a slender build... Nobody ever asks me how much I can bench press?

What kind of watch, shoes, pants, dress shirt says "That guy has style..."

Also, should a dress shirt have buttons on the collar or no buttons?

Well, I always like to say "whatever you're comfortable in", but since you asked specifics, here is my opinion:

For dress slacks, it kinda depends on the look you want to achieve. Some body types just look better in pleated pants. Other body types look nice in flat pants. Every mfgr. is different too! You might want to try on a few different types to see. In my humble estimation, I think flat pants are very crisp and clean. I prefer those on men.

Shoes are one of the first things I notice when I meet a guy for the first time. It sorta depends on the situation. I really prefer round toed shoes. Square ones just seem kinda funky to me. (As I'm sure super pointy ones that we wear seem funky to you guys).

I would recommend you wear a watch. In this day and age, it's so common for folks to have a cell phone, Crackberry or other high-tech device keep time....wearing a watch shows that you are conscious about time, but not obsessed with it.

Flat plants, are the more slimming version. Why would you want pleated pants, they make you look heavier than you are. Unless your really thin, then they might be a good choice for yah.

Square toe shoes, give a since of style. The rounded shoes especially black dress shoes look like Frankenstein.

Wear a fashionable watch, not a sport watch. It makes you looks complete.

ok, pointed toe shoes are in for guys at the mo. no pleat on the front of the trousers, your not fat or 70 years old. And if you have a good expensive watch, then yes, wear it.
