al's made so many BETTER movies, but that's the one that's been embraced by the whole gangsta scene, so it's really his crowning achievement...so far. it's okay.....just okay.

Al Pacino is one of my favorite actors. I think I have seen almost everything that I know of that he has acted in. Scarface is a very deep movie that shows how powerful a person can become if he only has the money. He started out with nothing and look where he ended up. He made it all the way to the top and ended up with nothing. I could watch his movies over and over.....

Scent of A Woman he played a blind man and was excellent. Don't see or hear to much of him anymore. What a GREAT actor.

When this movie came out it was supposed to be too violent for an R rating. Of course I had to see it, and it was great. Almost 25 years later its still a very much Quoted movie, is being made into vidieo games and is the besr Pacino movie ever!!

It was a good story in the reality sense, the acting was superb and its the kind of movie you could add to your collection of movies to watch every now and then..the one part I still get cringey over is the chain saw scene / tend to go to the fridge when it comes on....but its up there with all The God father movies most definitely.

The movie itself is average. Unfortunatley, it has spawned a cult following of people who have adopted this 'do or die' or 'just die already' attitude(s). It's theme promotes violence and drug abuse and it should be categorized amongst every other piece of 'junk' films that promote such ill-behavior.

I saw it and I can't remember it.
Hmmm... shows you what I thought ofit.
But I liked the Godfather trilogy, watched it all in two days.
So it's not like it's me, it's the damned movie.

I enjoyed it but I think it's rather cartoonish. The violence and the profane language can be gratuitous.
