To USMC,

Sorry dude, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 even the present administration says so. Read up on it.

Phillip,
You may be surprisd but I agree with you. My question points out the faulty logic of the original invasion.

USMC:
Wow, what have you been smoking? No Shia extremests were in Iraq before the invasion. The govt. there was a Sunni secular one.

Those guys (as is seen in the present Civil War) don't get along.

As far as Clinton not finishing Gulf War I.

Thats rich. GHWB went in there and stopped. I was in the Army at the time. Bush Sr. did the right thing and did as he was told by his MILITARY advisors.

USMC -- you better hope their not testing for that.

You seem to think it's America's privelege to go around invading weak countrys. You should run for president. As a reminder, the US probably has more WMD than the whole rest of the world combined and has a bad habit of using it. Don't you think Bush's shock and awe episode was mass destruction? In Vietnam the US hosed down everyone and everything with 20 million gallons of agent orange. Wouldn't you call that a chemical weapon? The US needs to stay home, quit trespassing, leave other peoples oil and land alone, for a change.

We had placed several sanctions on Iraq that they were not following. We had an agreement with them about the WMD's and they were supposed to let U.N. inspectors investigate everything. Iraq did not follow the rules.

We have no sanctions or agreements with North Korea, so it's not as easy to justify a war with them.

China stopped us the first time in Korea and would probably not like us trying it again. I'm sure alot is going on over there our government with it;s best will never know, but they do know better than to get THAT involved.

9/11!

Added:
Wrong, they provided safe zones for terrorists - terrorists hijacked planes in the USA - sounds like an involvement to me. Second - during the 1st Gulf War (which Clinton did not finish) WMD were used on our troops, chemical weapons! Sounds like you need to read up on it!

Only Libs think we invaded Iraq because of WMD's.
Finding them was a nice extra though.

North Korea has no oil for ExxonMobil to exploit. It's that simple.

Because congress needs to vote in order to go to war. With the terrorist loving democrats in control of congress, we are unlikely to see another war in the future.
