I feel some how that this question has political overtones. I could be mistaken but how do people find a way to induce personnel politics into everything. Obsessive Compulsive Behavior, the obsession is constantly thinking about it, the compulsion is not restraining ones self and acting it out. And you were such a nice looking cat.

Of course there's butt-loads of water on Mars. Mostly solid. Billions of years ago that was not the case; there was a northern ocean miles deep. The water has retreated underground and now forms a very thick permafrost layer.... but under that, insulated against the cold and heated by radioactive decay is liquid water and I guarantee LIFE.
