If you have MS Outlook on your computer, start there. It helped me just to schedule the time to study. Obviously, you need to be flexible, but writing it down does solidify things.

Map out things you HAVE to do first, such as your class schedule and work (if you do work). Then map study times around those things. Also put all your social events on your calendar (if you know them ahead of time, that helps a bundle). It always helps if you put your school work first and social life second. Make priorities and stick with them, too.

You can keep all of this in a planner, whether it's the paper kind or the PDA kind. Just have something portable with you to keep track of what you're doing.

Good luck and enjoy!

That depends on how you study.. and how many hours you are taking. Traditionally you are supposed to study an hour for every hour you attend class... I don't think anyone really does that though... you will probably be taking 12 hours so try to set aside 3 to 6 hours a week to study.. more or less depending on how difficult your classes are. Harder classes require more studying, and probably have more homework.
