It's because of all the programs you've already got on it that's making it run slow! Defrag and disc cleanup will help.

well acutally there are 3 on your computer now check your programs and see if there is a Defragmenter, windows clean up, as well as, scan disk these three speed up your program. Also there may be to many programs starting up at once. Click run- then type (msconfig.exe) then click what programs you want to start at startup that way there isnet like 40 things going in the background when you want to check your email

Sounds like you need to do some spring cleaning.(( Reformatt it. But back up your files. )) And if that doesn't work. You need to get dome RAM.
