I like RBBS's mixture of blues, rock and soul. Here is Red Wanting Blue performing RBBS's "California" in San Diego:

Here's what one reviewer has to say about "California":

Going with my gut instinct, I must deem "California" to be my single favorite song available on this album. Bradley, who once lived in California and witnessed shows from the likes of The Doors and Three Dog Night, composed the song about his experience in LA. Bradley shines wonderfully when accompanies by a sparse arrangement of instruments. An acoustic guitar and organ seem the perfect accompaniment to his gritty, evocative voice. This is a beautiful song, one so beautiful it actually hurts.

And I never y'all, seen the stars shine in California
but I remember seeing the rain a comin down, Lord
And I never no, seen the stars shine in California
but I remember seeing the rain comin down
