Which cat? What year was it born? Cat year equivalent, or just regular age? My cat is 1 year old, except in cat years, which would be around 10 years old.

First of all, there is no difference between a "dog" year, "human" year, or "cat" year. I year is the time it takes the Earth to travel around the Sun. The better question to ask would probably be something like what is the proportions of the years...in which case it would be (assuming human life at 75, and cat at 12) about 6.25 years of cat life to human life...but still that isn't a good answer, since cats mature much more quickly from birth compared to what humans do.

I've seen a comparison chart (but I can't find it, now).

For the first 2 years, a cat ages at about 9 human-years per year, then after that, at a rate of 5 human-years / year.
