The B vitamins and complex carbohydrates are very good for energy. Try Royal Energy Tea by Bee Royal Products. It has green tea (caffeine) bee pollen (natural B vitamins) and freeze dried raw honey. This combination will give you long lasting energy because the B vitamins will stabilize your blood sugar and keep that caffeine rush lasting longer.

First of all caffeine is not a good stimulant. You really need to look at what the stimulants do, most give you a quick boost and you fall quickly. What you really need is a pick you up that works like a plato. A plato go up and then levels off for a time, then slowly goes back down. You would get the most benefit from this type of stimulant. I can not remember the exact ingredient that is in the product I recommend, but it does this and people who workout often (trainers mostly) really love this. It is call REV-UP and can be found at the web site below. Learn about what you are putting into your body before you do it. Good luck.

I think your best bet is caffiene, I know you're probably looking for something stronger, but think about it. "Dietary supplements" are not regulated by the FDA, and even some things (like phen phen) are approved by the FDA only to be made illegal soon after! There's no way to tell if a substance is safe unless it has been around for a long time, don't take the risk.
