men are taught by society that they should be sex-craving pigs. so they adopt this value and go after anything with a vagina.. lol
not all guys are like this though. i won't be having sex until i'm in a really serious relationship. i need love and trust before i just give my body away like that..

Are you asking about gay or straight men?
For some gay men, it's just play, a way of being outrageous, having fun and enjoying their sexuality. They don't need to be picky because it's not about getting laid. (Though they may not mind if that happens too. ;-)
Body language experts say that some straight men (presumably some gay men as well, haven't read a book with that depth of awareness yet) will flirt with many many women in the hopes that one will reciprocate. Some will even manage to succeed with that method. The ones who are better able to pick up on body language signals, even if it's subconscious, will be more selective.
But I do have to disagree with the statement that they'll flirt with anything. I'm a tall woman in a short country. 'Nuff said?

You missed the word "some" between the words "are" and "men".
I am... I come out of a long term relationship after my girlfriend cheated on me, distroyed my life, not in the made me cry, wha wha way, but I ended up starving, walking my feet bloody for 9 hours, each way, and so forth, to see my daughter for only 4 hours 4 days a week.
I then went into a patch where I called the "trial and error" era. I went out with girls I thought would be cool. Didnt work, I ended up dumping them in 1 to 2 weeks, no not after sex, i didnt even have sex with any of them, to my "little mans" disdain. I decided that trial and error doesnt work, I will get to know girls first, now I have a lot of female friends, who respect the fact I can see women as friends, and for more then just something to "bang".
My hopeful search has beared no fruit thus far, but my "little man", once I past the age of 16 (which some males never do), no longer controls my mind.
Some males will, I dont really know why, im not one of them. I do see it a lot. But flaws like that, I dont attribute to just one sex, I attribute it to humanity in general. Thats what my little rant was on about, not all men are d**k driven 16 year olds.

I am extremely picky, but I know most men are not. If I'm in a "love'" relationship, I become blind to all others. I don't get it either, except I think it's selfish and thoughtless. I have a friend, who has a beautiful loving wife, and he is always checking out other women, and it confuses me because if I had his wife, she,d be all I'd think about! Not all people are the same.

REAL men don't flirt with just ANYthing. The THING has to at least be a female. Or a close approximation thereof. If you're isolated, on an uninhabited Island for instance, It doesn't necessarily have to be human but it MUST be female. lol
