If you put the wrong ink cartridge into your printer, just undo the insertion. If the insertion included dropping the new cartridge into the right place, pressing it down , and then clicking down the cover just unclick the cover, poke the cartridge so it pops up, and then lift the cartridge out.

I don't understand how the wrong cartridge got in there. They are usually coded by shape so they only fit in the right place. The only way I can think of is that your took out the old cartridge and then instead of putting in the new one you put back the old one.

I am having the same problem (the wrong cartrige was some how jammed and locked into the wrong holder) so i dont have a solution- when i called tech support they told me it wasnt possible to replace or fix, but im still searching for an answer- ill let you know if i find one.

OK- so i managed to get mine out by forcing it down (past the normal amount needed to get a regular cartrige down) and than puuling out. it took some tries and required some force. I hope this helps!!
