pippen WAS a great player. he had his time on the court. his knees can't hold up now. we saw that in his last stint. somebody needs to send him a copy of kenny rogers' gambler song because he doesn't know when to fold if this rumor is true. i loved you ten years ago scottie with those bulls but this is a new decade with new talent. just because you have played a few pick-up games doesn't mean you're ready for the league again. time to enjoy kids and grandkids old fella though you may be a decent scout or coach.

It is all over the papers and radio in Chicago today so the previous post who claims it was a lie you better just open up the Tribune. Besides being a cancer and a malcontent in the locker room I honestly don't know what Scottie does. I will always remember the 1.8 seconds he refused to play a few years back when the ball was given to Kukoc and Toni sank the shot and won the game. Pip's ex teammate John Paxson gave him a 10 mill 2 year contract back in 03 and Scottie was hurt all the time and never helped with the young players once. Pip owes his career to 23 and he should just be Michael's driver.

Stuck in the past. Pippin wasn't too effective in Portland without MJ. Most likely, he's promoting a product and is using his name and a talk about a comeback to market a product or an item. In B-ball, quickness is everything and at Pippin's age the quickness is gone.

i would actually like to see pippen comeback for a team that already has potental to win a championship, i think he would fit right in with the clippers reason being is that they need more of that vetran help cassel, mobley, doug, brand, and pippen sure it would be a slow team but i think its for the best, because they would have a great bench with livingston, maggete, kaman, thomas, and ross!

Yes he's insane. he should stay retired. If he does, then he, Jordan, and Rodman can all be inducted into the Hall of Fame together!
