Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

I really understand how you feel - I have the same problem. I wish I could tell you that it will go away, but I can't. A lot of that depends on genetics. Some women lose the belly easier than others. Exercise will help the muscle underneath, but the skin is usually another story.
Work your abs. Toning the muscles will help your overall appearance. You may not like the naked you in the mirror. I have to tell myself that my flabby belly is a "battle scar" from the most important thing I could have ever done - bringing a child into this world.

sit ups are the best thing but you need to be carefull not to over do things as your body has just been through a great deal already also you might have damaged the muscle across the stomach while pregnant and this can result in you not being able to tone this part up with exercises i would go swimming and maybe join a gym and get the advice you need from a professional but at the end of the day your hubby loves you and you have 2 wonderful children your blessed xx

It has only been 4 months, please try to give it some more time. SIt ups will help with muscle tone, but the skin was stretched for 9 months, so you need to give it time to recover. It's a good idea really to think that you were pregnant for 9 months so give your body 9 months to get back in shape again, and so you still have plenty of tightening time left.

Get a good workout video. The best is (to me) a video with alot of demanding aerobics. Yoga isn't one of them. Get yourself one of Denise Austin's workout videos. They are effective and reasonably priced. They're even available at your local Wal-Mart.
Also, walk. Walking while pushing your baby in his/her stroller can be very successful in losing the flab. Rollerblading would be even better.
There are quite a few other ways to get some easy exercise into your day:
Take the stairs whenever possible.
Park further away and walk to stores.
Walk to do short errands.
Use a video if you can't get to the gym.
Walk around the house or up and down stairs while commercials are on television.
Schedule your workout like any other appointment.

It is very possible. I have had three children and had the same problem. With exercise I have been able to drastically reduce the amount of loose skin. When you excercise it helps to make the skin more elastic which helps it tighten up. It takes time (it's been 9 months for me, 3 of excercising), but it does work.

I also wore those tummy control pants from the day after the birth and im sure they helped although i cant be sure. Just give it time...it can take a long time ....9 months on 9 months off!!!!
