A man who is a sales representative would be called "un représentant commercial", often shortened to just "un représentant”.
A woman would be “une représentante commerciale”, also shortened to just “une représentante”. Sometimes, people just use the words “vendeur” or “vendeuse” in an informal way. If you’re a man and you would want to say “I’m a sales representative for this company” , you could say “je représente cette compagnie”, therefore using the verb instead of the noun.
