Yes, those specs would be amazing in a Vista system.

But to upgrade your XPS 600 to a Core 2 Duo, you'd need a new motherboard that is compatiable with the C2D.

(And you might have to use 64 bit Vista to recognize 8 GB of RAM...but I'm not sure....)

you get what you paid for? if its too sturdy 2 be actual that is no longer working it a 5GHZ lol and a undemanding low end funds rig. yet advantageous its nevertheless a improve yet most of the specs are lie! yet his scores are extreme adequate and in the international of ebay you gotta do what evers sells
