I'm a sales rep for a soda company and our boss has given us the task of finding ways to increase our customers' (restaurants, bars, etc) fountain sales by 5%. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can do this? So far i have:
1. Change 6-flavor dispensers to 8-flavor
2. Increase cup sizes from 16oz to 20oz
3. Remove lowest selling flavor and replace with new flavor

People like novelty, well some people, With your lowest selling flavor rotate flavors or have a mystery flavor.

change the color of your cups or place trivia, quotes, jokes on the cups (ala Starbucks)

Marketing (add / update signs and posters)

A lot of it would have to be done in cooperation with the restaurant or business. You can try offering a special promotion price on all fountain drinks. You can also do a frequent buyers card where after 10 purchases, the 11th is free. You can introduce a new flavor and have the servers promote it.
