I'm tired of wandering around the video store aimlessly. Any suggestions on what to rent? I like all kinds of movies; comedies, dramas, period pieces, etc.

CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I watched it one night because we couldn't find anything that we hadn't seen 12 times already. We both sat there in shock through most of the movie. It actually shows you the politically incorrect side of people that everyone tries to keep hidden. It is disturbingly realistic, and shows several of the stars in the movie in a way you've never seen them before. Sandra Bullock, especially. You've never seen her act like this before.

There is a part of the movie involving the young daughter of one of the characters that will rip your heart out and stomp on it. And just when you think you know what's going to happen next, something happens that changes everything.

It's a great movie. I never thought I would like it because it isn't my normal type of movie, but my husband and I were so happy with it that we watched it again the next night so we could catch all the little details we missed the first time around.

Watch it. You won't be disappointed.

Ip guy 2 finally the eternal question "who's stronger: a boxer or a kung fu artist" is resolved lol nicely, that's a action picture, even though it regarded especially actual, i think of it could be like that throughout the time of actual existence besides, a minimum of a few reasonable concept of the intricacies of the boxer vs kung fu fighter combat lol The Fighter - between the ideal comedies of 2010, spectacular. 127 Hours - would desire to've been the ideal action picture of 2010, in the event that they extra some thing "Hollywoodish" to make it a action picture, yet cinematography is surprising, merits the Academy Award for the ideal success in Cinematography for specific (i might say the ideal cinematography I even have EVER considered, nicely after the best The undesirable and The grotesque)

Dreamland was really good. It's an indie, so you may or may not be able to find it, but it's worth looking for. About a girl/woman living in a trailer park in the desert (called Dreamland). She takes care of her alcholic dad who has severe anxiety attacks when he tries to leave home and her beautiful best friend who has MS and is a little obsessed with it. It's pretty much a journey to her finding out that she can have what she wants in life and still be there for the people she loves.

I just recently watched "A Night To Remember", which is an older film based on the "Titanic" sinking. It is dated, and very little was actually known about the incident back then, but just the same it's a good movie.

"Love Song for Bobby Long" is good--starring John Travolta, he plays analcoholic and Scarlett Johanson ends up living with him and this younger guy. It's really good.
