They have the right too, since America signed the Geneva Convention document. It's war crimes George Bush will just ignore. 25 Americans are expendable to the Republicans, when they themselves wont participate in the war.

Isn’t it sad that a country known, only second to Sicily, for its close association with organized crime and corruption were the ones who decided to prosecute men who were involved illegal and immoral practices against another human being? It’s a sad testament to this country – the land of the free and the home of the brave – that it was beaten in its resolve to apprehend those who violate human rights by a country known for the Mafia.
I have never defended Bush. Yet there is a more important question here. It isn't whether those who defended Bush in the past, should still defend him? The most salient question here, is should the American people keep defending their own image of being a righteous and moral people, when they willingly choose people who do dastardly things. I think the answer to that is a resounding no.

I was not impressed with Italy's handling of this. It is not in their best interests to have pressed this investigation and to have charged US agents. It is Italy's handling of this that will strain relations between us.
I'd bet dollars to donuts the Italian intelligence services were fully informed about this operation. And for the same bet, I'd say this was leaked by oppositionists.

lol, I am glad Italy has what it takes to look beyond the ´war on turism´ and look at all evidences of corruption. As far as I am concerned it was because some U.S. soldiers murdered that Italian reporter who was with the hostage. But no, I don´t think there will be any negative repercussions over it for the guilty.

If you are asking me to choose between a bunch of ungrateful Italians with agendas or my own president, I'll choose my own president. He may not be perfect, but he's mine, and the yellow Italians who have let millions of Muslim squatters destroy their country can mind their own business.
