I've always been a Clinique Happy or Happy heart lady. I like a clean, fresh, classic sort of smell. Nothing overpowering/too strong. Nothing that smells too old lady either hehe. Something for a women in their earlier twenties. Something that would be good for work as well.
Any suggestions?

What you said you are looking for is exactly how I would describe it. Sophisticated scent that would not knock out anyone within a 10ft radius or provoke allergic reactions. Fresh and clean with a bit of powder and light floral. One sniff of it makes me happy =)

What smells great on one person may smell terrible on another. It depends on your body's chemical makeup and how it mixes with the ingredients of the perfume.
You have to try them to be sure. It is good to know however, if you like flowery scents or more woody ones. This will help you to narrow your search.

I think Ralph Lauren Style is very clean and crisp. It has a very pretty, girly scent that is not overpowering. Not too floral or spicey either. You can get it at Dillard's, Macy's, Ulta, etc...
