How do u convert songs in itunes to mp3 format??

You can get various converters online. google .aac to mp3 converter and it'll bring up lots of software. Try different ones to see which your more comfortable with.

you go to preferences, click the advanced tab, then the importing tab and choose mp3 as the file format. Then you select the songs you want to convert and click on advanced>convert selection to mp3

That's how it works on a mac, not sure about a PC. But that's the idea, change your import preferences to mp3, then it will give you the option to convert. Hope it helps!

ive asked a similar question but id love to convert CDa files. i was advised to download free music converters, theres a lot of them. but i havnt found one that converts CDaudio. If you talk of file formats such as avi, mp2 wma, 3pg asf, etc.... you can try SUPER, i downloaded it for freebut wasnt helpful for me. Any suggestions out there-converting CDA's to mp3.

The only way I know is to burn to disk and then Rip back onto your hardrive!
