I think that the communication benefits in a care home are the same as anywhere.

When you use good communication you can express and understand the needs of the residents. They can let you know if they are ill or in pain and you can let them know what is going on with their care.

It helps to lift the spirits of those who are lonely and it allows the elderly to reminisce about their past. The caregivers can learn a lot from listening and those who are talking feel satisfaction that they are still important.
