BBT Question?

I have just been charting my BBT for one month now. This cycle I was on Femara and I was given a shot of Hcg to make me ovulate on Monday, but I have not had the dip in temp. that I have read about having when you ovulate, my temps this cycle have been97.78, 97.69, 97.39, 97.75, 97.25, 98.02, 97.66, 97.13, 97.38, 97.17, 97.42, 97.09, 97.34, 97.46, 97.54, 97.51, 97.96, 97.81, 98.03, 97.90 (the hcg shot was given on the day I had the 97.81 temp) am wondering if maybe the shot makes your BBT not drop before ovulation? any help would be great.

Not all women have a temp dip before or the day of ovulation. Usually ovulation can only be confirmed by a sustained temp rise of at least 3 days.

It's really hard for me to visualize the numbers written out rather than in chart form, but it seems possible you ovulated w/ the trigger shot. If your temp stays up for another day or 2, you can confirm ovulation. I don't know what effect the fertility meds you are using have on your cycle and temps though.

I highly recommend charting your other fertility signs in addition to temp. Temping is great for confirming ovulation, but cannot predict it. Nor can temp tell you if you have fertile cervical fluid (absolutely necessary for conception) prior to ovulation and when you have it.
