My guess is that he has devil looking eyes and is called Dave. If this is true - he is an alien who would rather use pencil and paper than a computer.

Sounds a little strange to me. I'm going to say the cult thing is more likely than the alien idea though.

Could have a variety of meanings. He may be a socialist looking for 'after the revolution' (long wait) or a Christian longing for Christ's return. (Not for us to know when)
