That depends, Common sense is needed to survive everyday things, but if the BOOK sense is the BIBLE you are better off with book sense, because common sense is already there ( if you believe in God and put him first in all that you do)

Some one could have all kinds of book smarts and still not be the sharpest knife in the drawer (I know a bunch of people like that). Common sense can overrule book sense anyday.

Depends on what you want to do with your life. I guess having book sense could get you a better career and keep you moving up the ladder which means more money and respect!
