This is what you need.
America, (USA) has very small teams in the big cities, 5 day matches are just does not fit in with the life style of the country.
America, (Canada) has few more teams, they also get more days off the work and have more vacation days in the year.
I do not know of any cricket club of the scale that you may be use to. In India or any other country that participates in test matches and the world cup type activities.
I think you need to do lots of foot work, before plunging.
Only way you can achieve your dream on a large scale is to start your own club, you will need money to do so. Response to this enquiry will tell you how much interest is there. There are few West Indian clubs in the big cities and few Indian clubs also, see if they have sites on Internet.

Cricket is not a favourite game in US. You may approach any cricket club in Canada. Better you put your requisition through the Board of Cricket Control in India. Good luck!

I don't think that you will have much luck here as a player or a cricket coach here in America because cricket is not so popular here. A small grocery employee in my town was a test player in pakistan.
