Why don't you lead the Old Testament? It is full of accounts where the Lord God Jehovah lead his people into battle. More chapters and verses than I can conceivably list here. I respect the Amish but that is only their philosophy. Being a Christian doesn't mean you are a pacifist, rather in my opinion, you are willing to stand up and fight for what is right in this world.

Amish people also don't have electricity, plumbing, or cars.

The Bible is NOT a pacifistic book. It Christ taught us to "turn the other cheek", but God had his people go to war. God brought the 7 plagues to Egypt. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

Kinda makes you wonder, don't it?

It cannot be reconciled as a faith. However, as a government, the Bible teaches us a government's job is to protect people and punish wrong-doing.
