I'm not being mean either cause altzimers is saddest for the people around the victim, I have not seen it first hand though once dated a girl that had. She said it was terrible for the family, though their Grandfather was very happy in his own little world.
I personally would be happy to go out with this problem, Everyone fears death though imagine how peacefully you could go if you did'nt even remember that you are going to die ?

That to me is a wonderful if selfish thought.

In the beginning I'd mind. All the anxiety caused by confusion and forgetting things. When it starts, you are aware that there is something wrong. Each case is different, some progressing slower than others. Faster is better, as you do get to the stage where you aren't fully aware of what is happening sooner. I just hope that if I did have Alzheimer's disease, that I was pleasant rather than difficult and violent. The latter is harder on the families.

I think the beginning of it is what would bother people. Forgetting stuff, not remembering somebody, or somebodies name. That thing about being coherent a lot of the time, but know you are slowly slipping away into oblivion probably terrifies some people.
