Running too early is always a big chance to take with the electorate. Al Gore, seasoned politician, champion of Global Warming might just be the next President.

Karl Rove thinks so and so do I...

Star this question so when we debate this again in 20 months time we have a reference.

If Al Gore is half as charming as he was in his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” then he could have a good chance of winning the next Presidential election. I am sure his entrance into the race would galvanize many Democrats, who retreated from the political scene, after the election was stolen from Al Gore. I think just the mere fact that Al Gore’s victory would be sweet revenge against the Republican Party that fraudulently robbed Gore of his right to presidency, would be motivation enough for Democrats to come out in force in favor of one of their fallen heroes.

Clearly, the abject failure of the Bush administration, can only work in Gore’s favor. However, we should never underestimate the stridency of the GOPs propaganda machines and how they can easily vilify a respectable man. After all, look at the way they tainted John Kerry. If Gore is to have a chance at all, the Democrats must play hardball, and not take the high and ethical rode that they took with Kerry. They have to be willing to defame the other side with all the skillfulness of a propogandist like Karl Rove.

I think Borack Obama is too popular too early, simular to how Howard Dean did in 2004. You can't peak a year ahead of time.

I personally believe Hillary Clinton will gain steam. Gore will also gain a bit of steam after he wins an Oscar, but I doubt he'll run anyway.

You left this out about Al Gore: He champions Censorship...remember the little thing in the 80's that he lead? The labeling of music and the changing of music to fit what he thought was moral...Dee Snyder really let him have it...or are you too young to remember that? I have my "Warning: Explicit Lyrics" shirt...do you?

Sounds like one of the few things Karl Rove might just have right.

You are correct that Hillary and Barack Hussein Obama will burn out like comets in the night sky. Since Gore ran once he is yesterday's news, regardless of how much you like him. He just won't get the nomination.
