Most of the larger Modeling Agencies do have a children's division. Some of the best out there are Ford, Wilhelmina, Elite, etc. which are mainly located in NYC.
Bear in mind that if you want to put a child in modeling/acting, you also have to be willing to tolerate all that goes with it: **Constant driving to castings,
**Expenses of updating thier pictures at least 2 times per year since they change features more regularly than adults do,
**Lessons that will help build confidence and skills like acting, dance, runway classes,
And that is just some of the expense and time needed. Also realize that there is so much rejection in the industry and that is a lot to put a child through as they are too young to really understand it and not take it personally.
You will also need to live near a major city in order to be successful in the business. An Modeling Agency will not book you unless you are within travel distance from the castings they will be sending you on. Thus, you'll need to live close to LA, NYC, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, as those are the biggest talent hubs.
If all of this sits well with you, go for it!! It can be a very lucrative industry to be in as long as you truly understand the costs and time involved.
