You can only boot to the USB if your Bios supports the USB Device as a Boot device.

Not all computers can boot from USB. If you have a recent BIOS, then the setting would likely be "USB device" or something like that.

Microsoft does not yet support USB as a boot device. Though, I know a lot people would like it to.
