Logged off but can't get back in!?

Question

I logged off my PC like normal. When I tried to go back in the PC started up OK, but I can't get passed a DOS screen. I can't use the keyboard (nothing happens). Prior to this happening I could turn off my PC by clicking the usual "turn off computer". Please help...

It seems that the Power On Self Test failed - The PC didn't detect a keyboard or mouse.
1) Shut down the computer.
2) Unplug and plug back in the keyboard and mouse.
3) Start up the computer again, hopefully it will boot completely.
