i think that the english language is optional in examination. i mean to say that: hume hindi mein bhi exam dene key liye allow karna chaiye .for like (BBA,BCA,BScIT,MBA MCA etc).because hindi is our national language.if we wanat to develope HINDI language than it is necessary that the indianshould read and speak english. ya what you said is absolutely true. hame hamari rashtrabhasa me hi pariksha likhne ke liye izazat deni chahiye. Balki jayadatar kaam hindi mein hi hona chahiye. par hamare desh ki yahi reet hai ki ham pardes ki nakal karne ki koshish karte hain aur usme kaamyaab bhi ho jate hain. par english higher education ke liye bahut jaroori hai. bina english ke kuch bhi nahi hota. aur jab hum world ki superpower banane ka khayab dekhte hain toh hame us bhasha mein bhi kaamyaabi hasil karni hogi jiske dam par ye duniya chal rahi hai. dusri bhasha sikhne me kuch nahi hai par hindi ko rashtra bhasha jaisa darza bhi milna chahiye. jo koi bhi hindi me baat karta hai use log gawanr samajhte hai. yeh nahi hona chahiy. What worse to expect. Our "Respectable" people sitting in top positions of India dont know hindi. Mr President, Mr PM and Mrs Gandhi dont know hindi very well. we couldnt expect changes in that direction now or in future. Isliye english sikho aur mast ho jao........

Are you trying to start another race war?!!! I know quite a few Indians who get really mad when anyone says that Hindi is the National Language. They really resent that! There are many millions - even hundreds of millions of Indians who do not speak Hindi. That's why English is necessary.

yes sweet heart it is necessary,i do agree that hindi is our rashtrabhasha and all that and we do have hindi till 12th dont we.we also speak hindi regularly,but english is an universal language which one has to use for projects/clients abroad.this is one use i am stating.now imagine a japanese delegation coming to u and speaking japanese how will u communicate,u will be talking in hindi and he in japanese,just imaginme.
