i want to make a web site so i can post things on it how can i do that ?

go to freewebs.com. thats the best site to make ur own website though it will be in the format like www. freewebs.com/name of your site.i too have a website on freewebs.

Normally your provider can help you out and they give you some space. Geocities.com is a great starup site for a free website. Go take a peek there - you just might find sonmething helpful! Good luck!

Microsoft is giving away a free domain name, 500 mb's of server space, and 25 email accounts. Make sure to choose the free one. It's where I keep mine unless you just want a blog and Yahoo! has a decent setup with 360 (http://360.yahoo.com/) I keep my blog there same address with ttommyfunkenstien at the end.

Your Internet Service Provider may also have a free personal webspace site. I use Yahoo's Geocities- see below.
