From experience I can safely say I feel for you ( I have a 5 yr old, 2 yr old and 7 month old) . Coloring always works, especially if it's a favourite character that your kids like (animals work too ) some great printable coloring pages at www.coloring.ws/animals.html also since you have a computer search for some fun new kid friendly recipes to try together. Let the internet work for you. Hope I was helpful, Good Luck

*Go to the library and get a bunch of books, and maybe some DVD's.
*Have them paint/color some pictures to sent to grandparents/aunts/uncles.
*Do you have a Memory game? You and your youngest son could play against the 5 yr old...or do you have any of the fisher price games? Some good ones are the Oreo one, the barnyard one, and the ice cream scoops one.
*Measure how much rain you get??
*Take a plain white paper plate, have your son put a couple drops of food coloring on it, and sit it out in the rain for a min or so depending how hard it is raining---if you use different colors you can end up with some really cool designs.
*Have a movie day--just cuddle up with some popcorn??
*Do finger paiting---they will enjoy it, and you can do some really cool scrapbooking/memory frames with their "art"
*Take broken/old crayons and have then puth them in mini muffin trays (enough to equal about 2 whole crayons) mixing colors together works good too. Then you melt them in the oven and when you take them out and let them get hard again---you have circle crayons!

well there is a few games my children used to play when they were 5/1 and i have three so i would say children love hide and seek I'm sure you've already tried it but threes also war games they can pretend to be soldiers in a war and use there hands as guns and pretend to shoot each over and then hide. that's if you didnt mind your children pretending to shoot someone. Or they could try hide and seek it which is where they hide and then when the person finds them they have to run and the person has to catch them and say it!

No Prob, do u have any cardboard boxes they can play with. I tell ya what they can do just about anything they want to do with a cardboard box, Or u can make a big tent out of blankets and sheets and hold them up with some chairs, it works for my nieces and nephews, they play all day in the tent

A Play Doh creative play set always works well with me for these types of days when I baby sit my neice. She can spend hours playing in the corner without a peep!
