I wish I knew. They seem to keep rising the prices every couple of years.

because its a con!! i dnt see the point in cable or sky nowadays, the prices seem to rise all the time! stick with freeview lol!! regarding that you reside in the UK, i hear NTL cable do a good offer though, i believe its £30 per month, for cable tv, broadband and phone services? if you go to there website though, i am sure you will see that prices start FROM £30 but they dont tell you that on the television commercials do they!!

I hear ya! I literally pay like $70 bucks a month for a package that is just above the basic channels ... but the basic only has about 20 channels and they're all crap... and that package is $45. It's such a monopoly b/c they are the only cable provider in my area and they know they can charge whatever they want and people will pay it. Hope you find an answer .. let me know when you find out :)
