Venom is the name that eddie brock give himself (and the symbiote) after he becomes infected, i want to know what it calls itself

It doesn't have a a name,(yet). It doesn't become Venom until I joins with Eddie Brock. Also,just to clarify, Carnage is an offshoot of Venom (Eddie Brock/Symbiote), and is far worse than Venom.

it is just call a symbiote and this is the venom what happen is that spider man find it first and he then realizes that the symbiote is alive and evil and get it off him and then Eddie Brock finds it and becomes venom

I think you are talking about Carnage. The sute Venom wears is simply the alien symbiote. And the symbiote has the ability to reproduce and have babys. One guy gets took over by the baby sute and turns into Carnage who is mainly Venoms enemy then Spider-Mans.CArnage is also incredibly more violent.

There are 2 altered versions you are thinking of one is venom and the other is canage, but the one in this movie is supposed to be venom because he is dealing with the venom of revenge. Venom is the dark side of spiderman. Carnage is like an alien of some kind (that is the one with all of the crazy teath). :)

In the comics when Spiderman found the suit in the Secret Wars and he eventually found out it was alive, he just called it the symbiote.

they keep interviewing sam raimi in wizard magazine and he always refers to the films main villain as venom, just like the comics. sandmans also in the film, and there was some hinting that a third villain might pop up in the film but nobody has said who it will be, but there is alot of speculation that carnage will be set up for a fourth film.
