I'd check with the doctor...if you don't stop bleeding you could become anemic. It may be nothing serious. A friend of mine bled for three weeks and it was just that the pills she was on weren't working, but other girls I know that had bleeding problems had endometriosis. I'd get it checked in a few days if it hasn't stopped.

Amanda, get yourself to your doctor and find out why your period has not stopped. You may have been given the medication that is just WRONG for your body. Sometimes, when females don't stop their periods, they have endometriosis. That would hurt in your back, very, very badly, and you would flow a lot. Sometimes, medication can stop this, and sometimes, other methods are needed. But, your first question must go to your doctor. Whereever you got your pills, ask there. Be safe.

Go and see your GP now and ask to be referred to a gynaecologist. I had the same problem and the gyn diagnosed fibroids and endometriosis. The GP should send you for a blood test too - if you've been bleeding for a month you may be a bit anaemic

If you need peace of mind, go and see your GP, though they will probably advise you to wait a bit longer before trying a different pill or anything...
I have been 'on' since May, and it's not nice, but if it is troublesome or heavy, I would go and see your GP and discuss it, they may suggest changing your pill.

1. The progesterone only pill can often cause menstrual irregularities, such as irregular bleeding or missed periods. These can be annoying, but tend to settle down after a while. If you have continued problems with irregular bleeding you should talk to your doctor.
If it was me, i would seek medical advice.

You haven't at least called your doctor to let them know what is going on? There's bound to be a problem. Call your doctor today. They can tell you on the phone whether you need to come in or not. You should have done something before now.

Better go see the Dr. could be serious side effect of the pill that you're on. Look up the medication on google to see about side effects.
