Book Smart or Street Wise Who are you? Which do you think is better to have?

I personally think it is better to have both !!!

That said, street smarts will help you more in navigating through a life surrounded by others and, since that is how we live, I think it is more useful. I have known many cerebral "Book-smart" folks who could not get through a day if it meant interacting with others (did not know how to behave politely and properly in a group of people). They tend to live life in a more isolated fashion.

I'm more book smart than street smart. My friends call me "suburban" as I was sheltered from many things growing up. Even now, I am not very street-wise, though I've tried to be more versed in that area.
Hmmm. That's a good question. I guess it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Obviously, they both have their benefits in certain situations. In general, I guess it would be better to be street smart.

Street. Book is a sad and empty thing without street.

i deff think steet is better. Street wise is knowing everything worldly.. book smarts and our society is mainly man made knowledge.

in school----> book smart,
out of school----->street smart.

highway clever is the "fancy way" of asserting that they are stupid in school yet desire to experience solid approximately themselves and declare to be clever in different areas maximum human beings say highway smarts are extra substantial by using fact they are not college clever
