Integrity, honesty, and candor amongst other things. Unfortunately, these qualities are extremely rare in American politics anymore for most professional politicians are are well-seasoned con-artists who I'd not even consider buying a used car or lawn mower from.

I would hope we have overcome gender & race issues, so qualifictions would be the most important, but I believe honesty & integrity (some things lacking in Washington lately) would also be of importance in a presidential candidate.
A lot could happen in the next two years, let's hope for the better.
