There are some subjects - like say, biology or psychology - where it is OK to get a degree in a foreign university, And there are some subjects where it actually is an advantage to study in a foreign university - like say, studying classics or Italian in Italy. And there are some subjects where it makes no sense at all to go away from home to study - like Law!

What would be the point of studying American Law, Australian law or any other law other than Canadian???!!!!! You should go to a law school in your own province or otherwise you will just wind up having to start from scratch, unlearn what you already learned and relearn different material as soon as you get home.

This is a really bad idea.

Matt is right it really isnt a good idea. However I dont believe that you would have to start from scratch shiould you study abroad. For example i have a friend who studied law in south africa and only had to do one conversion year to practice law in australia.
She was really confused at the end of though the point is she is qualified
